About oikos Warsaw

We are the only local branch of oikos International in Poland at the Warsaw School of Economics and one of the leading student organizations regarding the topic of sustainable business. 

Since 2001 we co-create oikos International's global projects, and at the same time, we develop our own projects for the sake of local community and our members. We empower students to understand the concept of sustainability in economics and management through a rich portfolio of projects.  

We believe that social, ecological and economic sustainability belong together and are essential elements for a better future. Therefore, we try to reach as many students as possible and make sustainability a constant companion in their future decisions.

Our projects at Warsaw School of Economics focus on diversified topics concerning education, business and lifestyle. We try to encourage representatives of business, politics, NGOs and science to participate in the discussion and to create a neutral platform enabling everyone to exchange their ideas concerning sustainable development. 

We also help our members to grow by learning how to manage their own initiatives, discuss different ideas and research economical concepts.

We currently have over 40 active members in our structures - both students of the Warsaw School of Economics and other Warsaw universities.
